Around this same time each year, us San Diego folks are treated to a glorified practice session from our neighboring Los Angeles Lakers at our own San Diego Sports Arena.

Tonight's preseason workout is with the Charlotte Bobcats. The main guys made their short appearances and broke a mild sweat, but for the most part we were watching the reserves earn their spots.

$35 tickets + $9 beers, Worth every penny.

It ain't the Staples Center, but we'll take it.

The "home team" ended up winning this scrimmage 102-98. Next Tuesday they start making it count. Can't wait.
